Kanwalpreet Singh is a popular Indian actor who is best known for his role in Imtiaz Ali’s superhit movie “Tamasha” (2015), where he played Ranbir Kapoor’s friend, named Dhillon. Kanwalpreet is very good at comic roles and this was proven in the movie when he puts across all the punch lines and balanced out the otherwise heart-break story between the lead actors. His performance in “Tamasha” has been highly acclaimed. Although, Kanwalpreet was a movie fanatic from the beginning, he is a Master’s degree holder in Business Administration. Hailing from Punjab, the energy and enthusiasm runs in his blood. His inclination towards acting first hit him after getting featured in a video of a song by Sukshinder Shinda. Kanwalpreet Singh participated and was declared the winner, in the second season of “Love Net” in 2010, on Channel V, which got him to instant fame on television. Kanwalpreet’s debut film was “Bikkar Bai Sentimental” an action drama by Gautam Anil Nagrath, released in 2013. He was in a supporting role, but he managed to woo the audience and critics alike. Kanwalpreet started getting roles in various Punjabi movies like “Naughty Jatts” along with Neeru Bajwa, in 2013. From here there was no looking back, as then he bagged roles in “Mastizaade” and “Tutak Tutak Tutiya”, both in 2016, and a lead role in the thriller short film “Zubaan” in 2018, for which he also won the Best Actor. With his talented performances, at a very early stage in Kanwalpreeet Singh has been able to work with great actors like Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood. He was also cast in Punjabi comedy movie, “Lucky Kabootar”.

He also has a web series named “Four More Shots Please!” on Amazon Prime, in his kitty. His current on air show is on Zee Punjabi, named Vilayti Bhabhi. He has also been seen in “Hai Tujhe Salaam India” released in 2022.
