Apara Mehta is an Indian television and Bollywood actress known for supporting roles like Savita Mansukh Virani in the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Apara learned Classical Music from Ghulam Mustafa Khan and Kathak at a young age.

She married Indian television and film personality Darshan Jariwala In 1980 with whom she has one daughter. The two have separated now.

Apara Mehta was born on 13 August 1960 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. She debuts in the Television show and Film Industry “Television: Alpviram (1998), Film: Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar (2001)”. As you guys know, most people have another name before entering the industry. It is common for those who work in the film industry as an actor or actresses.

  Apara has also appeared in several television series, including Alpaviram, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka (1999), Kyuki Saas Bhi Kbhi Bahu Thi (2000-2008), Khichdi (2004), Parrivaar (2007), Raja Ki Aayegi Barat (2009), Firangi Bahu (2013-2014), Jamai Raja (2014-2016), and others.

  She has appeared in several films, including Yeh Terra Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar (2001), Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001), Devdas (2002), Just Married (2007), and Tees Maar Khan (2015).  She is a classically trained musician who studied with Ghulam Mustafa Khan. She is also a Kathak dancer.
