Maheshwari has worked in several television serials like Thapki Pyaar Ki, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga, and Divya Drishti. She originally belongs to Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Before appearing on television, she was part of a local theatre group in Bareilly. Apart from television, Maheshwari has worked in the film industry. She debuted as a lead actress in the film Shaadi Teri Bajayenge Hum Band alongside Rajpal Yadav and Rahul Bagga. The film was directed by Gurpreet Sondh.
