Her sister-in-law is Priyanka Gandhi. She was in a long-term relationship with the political analyst, Tehseen Poonawalla. She married the political analyst Tehseen Ponawalla in 2016. Reportedly, Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra had convinced Monicka’s father to this marriage. It was a big fat Indian wedding, held in Delhi, and was attended by many prominent politicians including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
