Eban Hyams is a recognized professional basketball player for the Australian National Basketball League and the Waratah League of Australia which is an important part of the Australian Basketball Association (ABA). Eban Hyams was born in Pune, India, to a Jewish family and had moved to Australia at a very young age. Eban started to play basketball while he was attending school in Australia. After the death of his father in 1989, Eban Hyams attended a boarding school and there he reached his level of excellence in sports. His basketball career in 2003 and with Blacktown City Panthers. Eban Hyams is the first person of Indian origin to play in the ULEB competitions. He is closely associated with Bollywood star Jackie Shroff and his sister Krishna Shroff. The best of his play has been seen in the Australia ABA with team Hornsby Spiders for the season in 2005. He starred for the Perinth Panthers of Waratah Leagues in Sydney, Australia averaging 27 points and 6 rebounds with 9 assists in each game from 1999 to 2002. Later, Eban returned back to the USA to play professionally in the year 2013. He participated in the NBA Development League and National Invitational Tryouts in New York where he competed with other NBA D-League for a roster spot in 2013. He has featured in great basketball teams like Singapore Slingers, Bankstown Bruins, Hapoel Galil Elyon, and North Dallas Vandals. Eban Hyams won hearts as he played for the India Masters basketball team in the Maccabiah Games, in the year 2017. Eban currently plays in the UBA, the newest Indian Professional basketball league with Haryana Gold.
