Chetan Bhagat’s first novel is “Five Point Someone” which was successfully published in the year 2004. Chetan’s nine popular novels and three non-fiction include, “Five Point Someone”, “3 Mistakes of My Life”, “2 States: The Story of My Marriage” and “What Young India Wants”. Many of his fictional stories have also been adapted by Bollywood in films like “Hello” which was released in 2008 based on the story of his novel “One Night at the Call Centre”, 3 Idiots which was a big hit in the year 2009 and was inspired by the story in “Five Point Someone”, “Kai Po Che” (2013) the story of which has been adapted from his novel “3 Mistakes of My Life”.  “2 States” and “Half Girlfriend” which were released in the years 2014 and 2017 respectively had been inspired by his novels with the same names. Not only this Chetan Bhagat has also been a script writer for many the Bollywood films like “Kick” which was released in 2014, “Kai Po Che” and “Half Girlfriend”. For his exceptional and heart-touching storyline, Chetan Bhagat had been awarded the Best Screenplay writer for the film “Kae Po Che” at the 59th Filmfare Awards hosted in 2014. Chetan Bhagat’s recent works include non-fiction books like “Making India Awesome” and “India Positive” published in 2015 and 2019 respectively. His recent fiction books include “The Girl in Room 105” published in 2018, “One Arranged Murder” which was released in 2020, and “400 Days”, which went into the bookstores in 2021. Chetan Bhagat is a writer for all and his fan following is huge and has over 800k followers on Instagram. His achievements also include being listed in the Fast Company American Magazine among the “100 most creative People in 2011” at number 47, winner of the Entertainment Category award as the “CNN-IBN Indian of the Year” in 2014. And bagged the Rank 82 in the Forbes India list of 100 celebrities in 2017.
