Akshata Sonawane is an Indian actress, model and television personality who works in the Telugu film industry. She shot to fame after she appeared on MTV Splitsvilla 10. She will be making her big-screen debut in 2020 with Poster Telugu movie. She was also a national level Basketball player. Since childhood, she always wanted to be an actress. Thus she ventured into the modelling industry. She was the winner of Miss Kalanilayam (2014) and was also the 1st Runner up in Miss Raigad Queen (2015). She also won the Face of Navi Mumbai title and was the winner in Elite Miss India Asia (2015).
